Manure storage in Switzerland

This reference shows a corrugated stainless steel tank with corresponding tank roof that is installed in Switzerland. The membrane roof is centrally stretched through the central support to the sides which causes an equal tension across the membrane. The roof membrane is made of fibre-reinforced PVC, is resistant to sun, weather and manure. The membrane is fixed with stainless steel brackets at the slurry tank. The circumferential drip edge of the roof prevents from condensation water of the inner and outer tank wall. Besides, two wall bushings with a diameter of 250 mm and an operating hole are implemented. 

The stainless steel manure storage with accessoires

The animal production on the farm required a new manure storage. The tank for liquid manure has a capacity of more than 1,000m³. Manure storage made of stainless steel are very longlasting and robust, since they offer protection againt corrosion. Besides, they are flexible in terms of expansion for addition manure capacity. The manure storage is equipped with suction and filling port above the tank wall and work platform. Moreover, Stallkamp supplied the related agitation technology: submersible motor agitator with 7,5 kW which is installed with a lifting gear.
